High in the Atlas Mountains, Abdellah, a young shepherd, lives with his father on an isolated farm. Their goats are wasting away and Abdellah must go to find supplies at the market village that is more than a day’s walk away on a mule. When he arrives in the village, Abdellah finds it deserted of all occupants, due to a mysterious event.
